The 2025 Spring Keelboat Regatta is right around the corner, and excitement is building as GMSC prepares to welcome both local and visiting keelboat sailors to the starting line. Scheduled for April 12-13, this open regattainvites A and B fleet keelboats, with several out-of-town boats already signed up to join the competition.
Special Launching Provisions for Low Water
Due to low water levels, GMSC has arranged special launching accommodations with Westrock Marina, ensuring all participants can get their boats in the water safely. The club's crane will still be available for bottom covers, but all launching will take place at Westrock. A $5 launch fee is included in the registration. Skippers should check in with the Race Committee upon arrival for tie-up instructions and updated hazard notices.
Get Involved—Race or Volunteer!
GMSC members are encouraged to participate in the regatta, whether by racing or volunteering for the Race Committee. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the action and contribute to a great weekend of racing.
Regatta Dinner – Open to All
After Saturday’s races, competitors and club members can wind down at the Regatta Dinner, a perfect way to swap stories and celebrate the day's racing. Dinner registration is requested to help with planning, so be sure to sign up in advance.
