It’s time to roll up our sleeves and give back to the lake we love!
The annual Lake Cleanup, sponsored by Central Arkansas Water, is set for March 8, 2025, from 9 AM to 1 PM at WestRock Landing, and we hope you’ll join us.
Volunteers will spend the morning clearing trash from the water and shoreline before gathering back at WestRock Landing for lunch and raffle prizes at noon. Whether you want to work from land or hop on a boat, there’s plenty to do!
No boat? No problem! Boats will be available for those who want to help on the water, and many cleanup areas can be reached from shore. If you have a boat and want to use it, CAW will cover your launch fee for the day—clean up in the morning, then stick around for some afternoon fishing!
What to Bring:
- For boat volunteers: Lifejacket, gloves, and muck boots (we’ll have extras if needed). Don’t forget a hat, bug spray, and sunscreen—or a rain jacket if the weather turns!
- For shore volunteers: Sturdy shoes or muck boots, gloves (provided if needed), and a safety vest. A hat, sunscreen, and bug spray are also recommended.
